Fundamental Intersectional Issues and Sex Work: Stigma, Migration and Queer/Trans Identities

Through films, discussions, abstract presentations of concepts as well as concrete biographical stories, we will explore why these issues are so prevalent among sex workers. We will reflect on how we can improve our solidarity with sex workers and provide them with more support and space for empowerment through personal interactions, social justice work and better access to public and institutional spaces and resources.The seminar will be conducted in English and translated into German as needed.

The workshop is part of the project WomenVisibilityinAction, funded by the Participation and Integration Program and the federal programm Demokratie Leben! We would be happy if you would also invite other FLINTA* migrant women and refugees who would like to participate in the discussion!
